Your MONDAi calendar does not know about your personal commitments unless you connect them. A dentist appointment, a school pickup, a personal Friday afternoon — without Google Calendar sync those slots stay open for booking. With it they are automatically blocked.
Steps
Navigate to Google Calendar integration
Go to Settings → Integrations → Google Calendar. Click Connect Google Account.
Authorise your Google account
Complete the Google authorisation flow. Grant permissions to read your calendar for conflict checking and write new MONDAi bookings as calendar events.
Select the calendar to sync
Choose which Google Calendar to use for conflict checking. Select the one that holds your actual personal commitments.
Choose sync direction
One-way: Google blocks MONDAi slots but bookings do not appear in Google. Two-way: Both directions sync. Two-way is usually what you want.
Test both sync directions
Block a time on Google and verify it disappears on your MONDAi booking page. Then book a test appointment through MONDAi and confirm it appears in Google Calendar.
- Connecting the wrong Google account. Connect the account with the calendar you actually use day-to-day.
- Not testing both directions. Explicitly test that Google blocks MONDAi and that MONDAi writes to Google. Both need separate verification.
- Multiple team members connecting the same Google Calendar. Each team member should connect their own personal Google Calendar.
