How to Add Google Tag Manager to Your MONDAi Funnels

Install Google Tag Manager on your MONDAi funnel pages to deploy tracking pixels, conversion events, and analytics without editing page code.

Note

Note

Google Tag Manager is recommended for creators running paid advertising. It provides centralised management of all tracking scripts without requiring separate code edits per funnel.

Once GTM is installed, you can deploy Facebook Pixel, Google Ads conversion tracking, GA4 events, and any other tag from within the Tag Manager interface — without touching your funnel page code again.

Steps

  1. Get your GTM container snippet

Log into tagmanager.google.com. Find the container you want to use (or create a new one). Click your container ID to see the install snippet — there are two parts: one for the <head> and one for the <body>.

  2. Add the head snippet to your funnel

In MONDAi, go to Settings → Custom Code → Head. Paste the GTM head snippet. This applies to all pages in your account.

  3. Add the body snippet

Go to Settings → Custom Code → Body. Paste the GTM body snippet immediately after the opening <body> tag position.

  4. Verify GTM is loading

Install the Tag Assistant Chrome extension from Google. Visit your funnel page and check that your GTM container ID is detected and firing.

  5. Deploy your tags from GTM

With GTM installed, all future tracking tags (Facebook Pixel, conversion events, GA4) can be added and managed entirely within GTM.

Common mistakes
  • Only adding the head snippet. GTM requires both the head and body snippets. The body snippet is required for users with JavaScript disabled.
  • Not publishing the GTM container after adding tags. Tags added in GTM are in Draft until published. Always click Publish after configuration.
  • Adding individual tracking scripts directly alongside GTM. Once GTM is installed, manage all tags through GTM. Avoid adding redundant tracking scripts directly.
