Before You Start
You will be adding code snippets to your WordPress site. Use a plugin like WPCode or insert code directly in your theme's header.php. Back up your site before making changes.
WordPress is often already in use when someone arrives at MONDAi. Rather than rebuilding everything, you can embed MONDAi forms, add the live chat widget, and add tracking to your existing WordPress site — keeping your domain and existing content while gaining MONDAi's automation and CRM.
Steps
Add the MONDAi tracking script
The tracking script enables form submissions and page visits to be attributed to contacts in your CRM. Get your script from Settings → Tracking → Script. Add it just before the closing
</body>tag using WPCode or the theme customiser.Embed a MONDAi form
Go to Sites → Forms, open your form, and click Embed. Copy the iFrame code. In WordPress, create or edit the page where you want the form. Add a Custom HTML block and paste the embed code.
Add the live chat widget
Get the chat widget embed code from Sites → Chat Widget. Add the script using WPCode set to load on all pages, or paste into your theme header directly.
Test all elements
On your WordPress site: submit the embedded form and confirm the contact appears in MONDAi. Verify the chat widget appears and that messages route to your Conversations inbox.
Optional: use the GoHighLevel WordPress plugin
The official GHL plugin (available in the WordPress plugin directory) simplifies script installation and provides additional native integration options.
- Form embed not working because of Content Security Policy headers. Some WordPress security plugins block iFrames. Check your security plugin settings if the form does not render.
- Tracking script added to the header instead of footer. The tracking script should load last to avoid blocking page rendering.
- No test after installation. Always verify forms and chat work end-to-end after adding any embed code.
