A course in MONDAi is built in three layers: the course container, the modules inside it, and the lessons inside each module. Each layer has its own settings — title, description, thumbnail, access rules. Work from the outside in and the structure comes together cleanly.
The course builder lives inside the Memberships section — a dedicated environment for digital content that operates separately from your marketing pages and funnels. It's the same infrastructure that powers GoHighLevel's membership product, configured here for coaches and creators building structured learning experiences.
Tip
Before you start
Have your content plan ready — know your module titles and lesson sequence before building. Also have a course thumbnail (recommended: 1280×720px JPG or PNG) and any video files ready.

Video WalkthroughFull walkthrough of Memberships → Courses → Create Course, adding a module, adding lessons, uploading video and PDF content, configuring access, and publishing
- Building all lessons before testing the student experience — create the first module and lesson, grant yourself test access, confirm what students see before building out the rest.
- Leaving the course in Draft status — Draft means invisible to students. Publish when ready.
- Uploading very large video files directly — host on Vimeo and embed for a faster, more reliable experience.
- Not connecting a product to the course — if the course requires purchase, the product connection triggers automatic enrollment.
