How to Add an Order Form to a Funnel Page

Add a working order form to a MONDAi checkout page, connect it to a product, and enable payment processing.

Warning

Before You Start

Stripe must be connected and your product must exist in the product catalogue before adding an order form. The form itself is just the UI — the product and Stripe connection are what make it functional.

An order form is the element on a checkout page that collects card details and processes payment. In MONDAi it is a drag-and-drop element connected to a product in your catalogue. Add it to any funnel page to turn that page into a checkout.

Steps

  1. Open the checkout page in the funnel editor

Go to Sites → Funnels, open your funnel, and click the edit icon on the step you want to be the checkout page.

  2. Add the Order Form element

In the element library on the left, find Order Form (or Two-Step Order Form for a multi-step checkout). Drag it onto the page.

  3. Connect your product

Click the Order Form element to open its settings. Under Products, click Add Product and select the product from your catalogue. The price and product name populate automatically.

  4. Configure the form fields

Set which fields to collect: name, email, phone (optional), billing address (required for some payment types). Keep it to the minimum required.

  5. Set the post-purchase redirect

Under Next Step, select the thank-you page to redirect to after a successful payment.

  6. Add an order bump (optional)

Enable the order bump option in the form settings if you want to present an additional offer at checkout.

  7. Test with a Stripe test card

Save and preview the page. Complete a test purchase using card number 4242 4242 4242 4242 with any future date and any CVC. Confirm the order appears in Commerce → Orders.

Common mistakes
  • No product connected. An order form without a product connected will not process payment even if it appears functional.
  • Stripe in test mode when going live. Test mode rejects all real cards. Confirm Stripe is in live mode before sending real traffic to the checkout page.
  • Not testing before launching. A checkout page that fails at the point of payment is a lost sale. Always complete an end-to-end test purchase first.
