Your data belongs to you. Exporting your contact list regularly is a good operational habit — it keeps a local backup in case of any platform issues and makes migrations or cross-platform syncing straightforward when needed.
Export Your Contacts
Go to Contacts
Filter your contacts if you want a segment
Or leave unfiltered to export all contacts.
Select all contacts in the view
Use the Select All option.
Open Bulk Actions
Select Export or Download CSV
Choose which fields to include
At minimum: First Name, Last Name, Email, Phone, Tags, Date Added.
Download the CSV
The file downloads to your device immediately or via an emailed link depending on list size.
Exporting Other Data
- Transactions/Revenue: Go to Payments → Transactions, apply a date filter, and export.
- Pipeline opportunities: Export from the Opportunities section.
- Campaign reports: Download from individual campaign stat views in Marketing.
Export Best Practices
- Export a full contact backup monthly — store it somewhere off-platform
- After a large import, export and spot-check a sample to confirm field mapping was correct
- Before any significant platform change, run a full export as a safety measure
- Exporting without applying the right filters and getting a partial list by mistake.
- Not including tags in the export — tags carry context about each contact that raw contact details do not.
- Assuming platform data is always available — export regularly and keep local backups.
